Introduction

This module is aimed at understanding the concept of Blue-Green Infrastructure in the context of climate resilience, with a special focus on coastal environments. The module shall equip participants with a functional understanding of diverse blue-green infrastructure, such as green roofs, green
walls, green streets, living shorelines, rain gardens, and wetlands. This module offers an in-depth perspective on how effective planning and use of Blue-Green Infrastructure at a landscape-level can increase the capacity of urban spaces to adapt to climate change in multiple ways.
